I can't see the video because catbox blocks my vpn, and my normal vpn is blocked by upgoat, which makes me have to pick an alternate, which then shows up as blocked by youtube with the "sign in" screen.
It is definitely getting worse for vpn users to browse without having to jump through more and more hoops.
I agree with blocking ip addresses due to attacks on the network, but I am not a networking guy and don't know all the issues where blocking whole blocks of ip addresses is needed.
I recently just made a firewall software. What is happening is that entire group of ips from that VPN location was blocked probably because an attack originated from that block. Everyone gets shafted in the process.
You have to block the entire group of IP's that VPN can spin up from that location because the bad actor can just instantly attack again if they don't.
edit: And maybe this is divine timing for me. Because VPNs dont make you any more secure than your normal connection in all reality. They might even lessen your security in the long run. The need is on the device layer for blocking unwanted traffic at your port.
The software I'm finalizing right now does just this. It allows you to see where things are coming from and block suspicious ones with a click. It also allows you to look up all publicly known information for that IP connecting to your port.
It also has a "Nuke" ability that locks down your port and only allows what you you already have white listed to connect.
Fuck em, we're in end game now. I'm deciding whether to monetize it, or just release it for the people to use for free.

They just keep your ISP from sending you to court for downloading some copyrighted jewish bullshit. Or they let you appear from somewhere else for a bit for normal shenanigans. If you are doing some iffy shit, don't rely solely on a VPN, that's just fuckin' stupid.

There's already stuff that does this on normal routers. You have to buy a router that isn't provided by your ISP and then upload the software to it, but it is available.
The levels of features I have put into this software make it a fully fledged, customizable firewall on device layer, giving almost exact location details: country, state, city, address, phone number, e-mail used to register domain, etc...... I'm thinking about making another version for network layer. Device layer makes it customizable for the retarded end user without fucking up say, an employer, school, or business network...
You can't see what I see when I'm using my software, but it is so full of features, I'm actually proud to shove it down your throat in short time.
It's currently fully fledged on linux and windows, I've been working on bringing it to mobile devices, which is the end goal, and the money maker.
So eat my shit you silly faggot, you're fucking retarded, and think you aren't. Classic dunning-Kruger.

Why use a VPN? There’s not that much interesting shit on the web these days. Heck, going for a walk is better than sitting at the computer in this era.
Noticed about 2 weeks ago that I was getting "blocked" messages on Upgoat whenever I try to log on. I've been able to log in using VPN locations from places that are incredibly far away and slow down my connection speed so considerably, it's hard to even navigate the site. It means that I have to constantly disconnect, change locations, and reconnect whenever I want to play games or use my computer in a different way that surf Upgoat.
It's somewhat frustrating, but I figured a pretty bad DDoS attack must have come towards the site a while ago. Clearly, someone out there doesn't like the open forum communication that we have developed amongst ourselves out here much.
voat.xyz and upgoat.net are acting very strangely on protonvpn. I have never had an issue to hop to a new server every now and then, but seems vast swaths are blocked now in north America.
its been happening for a week. I had to connect to afghanistan to get this place and catbox going at the same time.
