Trump's comments weren't about expanding the empire. The media has no sense of humor and takes Trump's comments as literally as they can to demonize him.

Simple fact is, Greenland's best interests are to become a major trading partner with the US with or without the EU or European input. Trump knows this.

As the EU fractures, political and economic realignment will take place. Greenland is currently euro-centric but that needs to change for the benefit of the US and Greenland.

Maybe you didn't read what I wrote. Trump isn't going to make Greenland a part of the United States. That rhetoric is red meat for fever dreaming faggots in the media and Trump haters like @Sal_180 and a funny joke for everyone else.

People just can't wrap their heads around Trump making a funny. There is a serious unlying sentiment to it, but when you're stuck on taking Trump literally, you can't just accept what he's suggesting. These fucking idiots have been yanked around by Trump for literally 10 fucking years and still can't figure it out.

The EU is falling apart. Germany and France are restructuring outside the EU. The UK left the EU. Greenland's future interests are in alignment with the North America, the US, Canada and Mexico. The fracturing of the EU will not have anything left for Northern Europe to stay independent. They'll either align with the US (North America) Germany and France or Russia and China. If they choose to align with the former versus the latter, they will be under the control of the US, which is what Trump actually said during the address.

Denmark has a GDP of $1/2T. They can't go it alone and the EU isn't gonna last much longer.
