The reason it should be hated universally and guys that use it should all die in pain, is that it is more likely than not to be malicious.
Further, there is only one way to find out if a site is using malicious JS or not, run it. Then you are fucked when it is. It does not matter if site is innocuous, the only intelligent way to approach is to consider all sites malicious.
Further, very few sites even have basic functionality these days without it. That is malicious all by itself and a good indicator that the site dev doesn't even know, the DEI faggot just copypastad his whole shitty site without a fucking clue what the code does, er.. how it works.
Sadly, users are indeed mostly idiots and don't know any better. I suppose you could argue idiot users get what they deserve, but that too is malicious.
It is very jew. All about greed of saving server side expenses and foisting them onto users. Number one reason your relatively new computer is always spinning up fans and choking.
It's loved because it's useful. It's hated because it's often used unnecessarily and I've seen web pages end up using over a gigabyte of RAM in a few minutes because of poor coding practices.
JavaScript came from a weird place. They wanted an ActionScript or something and decided to bolt C syntax onto it. It wasn't master planned. But it was useful and quick. And thus doomed to be used forever. But I don't think they thought it would be used as widely as it was.
I like JavaScript and use it for all kinds of things. I write JavaScript games and I even use it for quick data crunching.
I've been coding for a bit north of 40 years now and have used a bunch of languages. JavaScript requires very very little overhead management (unlike, say, C), and has a lot of the front-end stuff kind of built in, or really easy to attach (unlike, say, Python).
Someone commented below that if Python were adopted as a front-end language in browsers, JavaScript would die. And I have to say that's very correct. Python is great, but it's best used as a back-end language. (I know someone will shoot at me for that but it is what it is when compared to JavaScript.)
JavaScript is crazy misused, for sure. But it's also crazy versatile. Like I said, I've used it for custom data analysis, crunching more than 5 million rows in reasonable time. (Yeah, I know 5 million isn't a lot, but it's still a useful amount.)
If browsers become scripted with python, JS declines briefly, followed by the whole browser concept dying because JS has already let too many bad coders in and python will add the niggers and gays to the mix.
I decided I love class function headers which look like
There's something artistic about the way each bit of syntax does something meaningful to help a compiler, and it's also just enough of a deterrent without going all the way back to const char array and null termination.
Javascript SHOULD be used for CSS and microservices. Instead they code the entire fucking site with it and it falls flat on its ass because of unforgiving and lack of error management not realizing what is wrong with a site and most code is workaround of existing shit code.
I was reading the code for a place that I no longer work that shall remain anonymous, and their whole "forms" implementation involved "onclick" scripts that requested a URL dumping all the data you put into the form into the URL unencrypted (just whatever the URL version of ASCII-armoring is).
Use NoScript and PrivacyBadger in addition to the seven proxies. As a minimum.
I keep all (known labeled) Jewgle .js blocked out of curiosity. Unless required.. Amazing how many websites depend on it for basic functionality:Even essential fed and local government sites.
I remember the Amazon blackout. Dentist office(cough HIPPA). Print store(cough SOPA/PIPPA)
The whore American Public is like a dresser. Everybody going through her drawers.
I can't think of anyone who loves or even likes JavaScript. The only reason anyone uses it is because it's the only way to do front end. If tomorrow, every browser adopted Python as a frontend, Javascript would immediately plummet in the TIOBE Index. https://www.tiobe.com/tiobe-index/

All languages have their flaws, and JS is notorious for its flaws. But programmers are supposed to know them and avoid them.
You can code garbage in any language. But JS has a higher percentage of bad coders using it than any other language, most likely.
