The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta’s GDPNow model projection for real GDP growth in the first quarter of 2025 (Q1 2025) is now showing a slump to -1.5%. This marks a significant downward revision from the previous estimate of 2.3% on February 19, 2025.

Such an enormous decline is strange. How did we go from +2.3% to -1.5% in less than a month? That kind of collapse in an economy as large as the United States is exceedingly rare.

its clear that this is not a trump recession, its a FED reserved induced recession to due to high inflation and massive loss of jobs plus the economy is being automated with robots and AI even more.

at some point is quite possible that we'll find 50-60 percent of the population without jobs due to these issues.that's why they are floating the idea of giving free money to ppl in congress. a jobless population spells disaster for the politician. oh and dont expect this to be fixed anytime soon.

the article is trying to imply that they can fix it. i dont see how so since many ppl will be laid off because of further automation. plus the high inflation will accelerate the closure of many business due to costs and people unable to afford the products and services that they were used to before.

"People being laid off." Maybe without govt shadow-spending, regular govt spending, and illegals getting kicked out, and the taps drying up the others will self-deport. If we tossed 40 million leeches, I wonder how that would rectify the equation. Good things are happening, too. As long as we don't pollute our waterways, like Tyson has been doing, we should bring back manufacturing. Automation has been around a long time. I don't see any country going full automation because, as you say, that would eventually put a very high percentage of the population unemployed.

The collapse the article speaks of is a lie to truth GDP. The whole time Diaper was teetering and mumbling around the WhoreHouse, the numbers were boldly lies.
