Lol. And, Russia will end this war. Just as soon as Zelensky promises to not join NATO or the EU and quits attacking Russian troops in the newly recognized sovereign regions of the Donbass. The sooner the better, too. Otherwise, Ukraine will get smaller and smaller by the day and have more and more difficulty keeping their lights on.

And, you can blame Putin all. You want, but it was RUSSIA that authorized this action and has the support of 85% of the Russian population. Even those that hate Putin know better than to allow NATO to take over Ukraine. Which is fair, considering we wouldn't allow Russian or Chinese bases in Mexico or Canada. The war started in 2014. More fundamentally: as Samuel Huntington pointed out in the 90s - Ukraine is a cleft country. Basically half hates Russia. The other half kinda is Russia. Ukraine was always fucked. It's about power. Russia trying to build its empire. The US trying to maintain its by opposing Russia. Moreover, the US dicking around there is like the Russians moving into Canada. The national security implications for Russia here were obvious. The US is trying to dismember Russia.

Putin didn't invade Ukraine, retard. The Russian Parlement declared the Donbass as an independent region and sent in the Russian military to protect the newly recognized region. Putin, as commander in chief of the Russian military, did his job as authorized by the Russian Parlement. Putin isn't the decider re the incursion into the Donbass.
