There are a bunch of Mennonites where I live. No complaints.

Central Pennsylvania had (and has) both Amish and Mennonites. Back when there was no plastic on cars, they painted all chrome black because it was "fancy", and they are the "plain" people. They all wore traditional garb like the Amish, and women wore their hair in bonnets.
