I don't understand why Russia never levelled the two places in ukraine that should've been. Very suspicious. and why Putin promised day one to not hurt jewlinski.
Kiev, now Kyiv, was originally a Slavic settlement that became the capital of the Varangian–Russian principality in the 9th century. It was a center of the feudal state of Kievan Rus', which was the historical nucleus of Russia.
It's definitely not an 'American-style' war, and it makes sense that Russians wouldn't destroy their original capital. They have been destroying a lot of military warehouses and factories in Kiev though.
As for jewlinsky, a comedic penile pianist as the enemy leader is a gift you don't reject. Russia's actual strategy and tactics on the battlefield seem inexplicably inept, and they're only winning because Ukraine's is even worse.
Russia has to take the whole southern Odessa region to reconnect with Transnistria, and deny coastal access to the remainder of Ukraine. Same with the regions bordering Russia in the north. They're going pretty slow if they want that to happen, but their slow attrition strategy HAS thrown NATO and the west into disarray. So maybe they do know what they're doing, and the losses are worth the gains.
Russian orks don't know how to fight, historically their strength had lied in their numbers which they are unable to employ in this fight. Oh well, i can't wait to count their dead once the dust settles.

Some do, but there's a lot of cannon fodder. Ukrainians are even worse, when you compare all the videos. When I was in the US army, there were some real dumbfucks. My Lt. Clarke couldn't read a map to save his life. [road turns to dirt and finally ends in a pasture - Lt. spreads the map on the jeep hood, scowls at it in frustration]
