the government officials whose legal job it is to go and check this out, being stopped, at the gate, by other government officials hired by dems, a backdown, a higher level public person going to do it, and being faced with a full on armed democrat rebellion claiming 'executive has no right to inspect gold reserves, heres a law from 1795 written in red crayon saying we have the right to use the military to stop an audit of the reserves' and daring republicans to 'use military force' to 'illegally seize the nations treasury' and something something 'coup'

i mean we are no shit back to medieval days of the actual person in charge being the one that just happens to hold the keys to the nations coffers because they got to the royal mint before the other guy, and not the person whose actually legally in charge of the nation who has the mandate to actually hold those keys.
