There was a post on /pol/ of someone claiming to be an insider working for D.O.G.E who said they might be issuing debit-like cards to Americans but will only be used to buy certain cryptos and that as long as they buy $5k in those cryptos, people will be able to cash it out to USDC to use after 24-72hrs, but it doesn't make any sense if DOGE is really trying to boost the economy, and that it will be a ponzi scheme that may crash the overall crypto market & people will be left with pennies on the dollar making the whole $5k thing redundant while the Trump, Elon & the government will still make billions off of it all.


All in all, don't be fooled. This administration is stringing people along with their "promises" and have yet to do anything to address basic economic issues like high grocery prices.

Indeed if some handout occurs, that should be in proportion to taxes paid minus benefits parasitized.

Another option is to deflate the dollar instead (i.e. "pay off national debt"), although that would dilute the economic effect by benefiting foreign holders of dollars (china), and only currency reform can actually help with that meaningfully.
