Honestly, avoid hospitals and medical interventions during childbirth.

Babies are sitting in water for 9 months

[ - ] dosvydanya_freedomz 1 point 2 monthsFeb 17, 2025 06:12:29 ago (+1/-0)

i know this but when they go out of the womb they must find air somewhere. personally it scares the hell out of me to see them swimming like that

Babies get all of their nutritional needs and oxygen via the umbilical cord. No need to worry about drowning because mom still has you covered at that point.

Birthing with dolphins is one way to go about childbirth that I've always found fascinating:

Health (alternative health) and holistic solutions always find their way to me, and some of the pregnancy-related subjects are really fascinating.

Midwife care in California can cost between $3,000 and $9,000, depending on the services and whether you have insurance.

25 years ago, the midwife cost a flat $3000 for everything through birth. Hospitals are for sick and malfunctioning people.

We have used midwives at a birthing center. Much better than the birthing doctors. We did end up at the hospital at one point and I was a bulldog with all the doctors, they did not like informed consent and me advocating for my wife. One nurse asked another if a bag of saline had medication in it and the nurse said "I assume so". Meaning, they didn't actually know if they were administering medication to my wife. I hit the wall.

Then we got to talk to the vaccine nurse, we didn't get along so well. The nurse called my wife a "bad mother" for not giving our kid vaccinations, this is after about 6 hours of being a mother. The vaccine nurse mentioned her kid was autistic. 🤦

But you couldn’t even be that

[ - ] PostWallHelena 0 points 2 monthsFeb 17, 2025 10:59:01 ago (+0/-0)

Sure I could have.

[ - ] Ragnar 0 points 2 monthsFeb 17, 2025 17:09:17 ago (+0/-0)

But didn’t! Which is worse than couldn’t.
What a useless life.
Get back in the kitchen and make us sandwiches so you can at least do something

[ - ] Gowithit 0 points 2 monthsFeb 16, 2025 20:51:51 ago (+0/-0)

odd thing to ask. Usually they told you to concentrate on breathing. I wonder when this new thing started?

[ - ] dosvydanya_freedomz 1 point 2 monthsFeb 16, 2025 21:28:49 ago (+1/-0)

i'm a dude so i have no idea. but that was the gist of birthing the woman had just to push and breathe no?

we are currently in clownworld so anything is possible at this point. hell i saw a video on primetime over 10 years ago if not more that was talking about women having orgasms while birthing.

yes this was shown on prime time tv. in one of those investigative shows that they used to do. inside edition or 20/20 i dont remember...let me look for the video for you if it still exists on youtube

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1X6L1S2wGU

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_P9KZrLYII <----this is the video that i saw btw is safe for work

[ - ] Gowithit 0 points 2 monthsFeb 16, 2025 21:30:48 ago (+0/-0)

You know... there was an article a long time ago that says women don't fully know what an orgasm actually is.

[ - ] dosvydanya_freedomz 0 points 2 monthsFeb 16, 2025 21:36:45 ago (+0/-0)

really? i can get why some women maybe anorgasmic because of abuse or whatever. but i find it hard to believe that most women dont know how finger themselves to orgasm and more so in this day and age where many do practice masturbation.

well, i'm a dude so my organs are outside so that helps alot i guess.

[ - ] Ragnar 0 points 2 monthsFeb 17, 2025 10:38:41 ago (+0/-0)

Umm I’m pretty sure they know

[ - ] PostWallHelena 0 points 2 monthsFeb 17, 2025 11:07:42 ago (+0/-0)

Not with you they don’t.

[ - ] Ragnar 0 points 2 monthsFeb 17, 2025 17:10:12 ago (+0/-0)

Every single one with me did screaming o three times every time

[ - ] PostWallHelena 0 points 2 monthsFeb 17, 2025 17:58:11 ago (+0/-0)

I totally believe you.

[ - ] Ragnar 0 points 2 monthsFeb 17, 2025 21:10:19 ago (+0/-0)

You will never experience the joy. You are to haggard for me

[ - ] PostWallHelena 0 points 2 monthsFeb 17, 2025 11:10:15 ago (+0/-0)

Says alot about what kind of lover the author was!

[ - ] Gowithit 0 points 2 monthsFeb 17, 2025 11:19:33 ago (+0/-0)

the article was saying how the women are confused on what constitutes as an orgasm not that they had ever experienced one.

[ - ] PostWallHelena 0 points 2 monthsFeb 17, 2025 11:23:41 ago (+0/-0)

I assume it was a man who wrote the article. How would he know?

[ - ] Her0n 3 points 2 monthsFeb 16, 2025 21:55:17 ago (+3/-0)

Sent this to the Mrs, we are going to start for baby number three this summer!

[ - ] Trope 1 point 2 monthsFeb 16, 2025 22:20:19 ago (+2/-1)

Make sure she’s getting magnesium and iodine in her diet! Magnesium reduced the risk of birth defects by a substantial amount.

[ - ] Ragnar 0 points 2 monthsFeb 17, 2025 10:36:58 ago (+0/-0)

What about preeclampsia?

[ - ] Ragnar 0 points 2 monthsFeb 17, 2025 10:36:36 ago (+0/-0)

Congratulations man

[ - ] Her0n 0 points 2 monthsFeb 17, 2025 11:17:05 ago (+0/-0)

Thanks, I'm hoping this one is a girl. Three boys is fun, but the Mrs thinks this one is gonna be her last.

She also said that after the first boy, so I guess she was telling fibs before.

[ - ] Ragnar 0 points 2 monthsFeb 17, 2025 17:12:28 ago (+0/-0)

Once the baby is here, she’d want more.
Keep going as much as you can because we need quantity with quality

Right on. I've heard a few times (the "current" health thing, I suppose) that if you've gotten off track with your health, it's best to get back into healthy habits ~6 months before conceiving.

Anyway, I've heard of them before but have recently been reintroduced to cell salts. May or may not be worth your time. But I can say from experience that collagen has turned out to be a great supplement.

Congrats to you and Mrs. Her0n, and I hope you, the family, and the homestead are doing well.

[ - ] MaryXmas 1 point 2 monthsFeb 16, 2025 23:34:36 ago (+1/-0)

Collagen is great, makes your hair grow. My wife uses Thorne prenatal. They are pricy but we haven't had any problems growing the family.

[ - ] PostWallHelena 0 points 2 monthsFeb 17, 2025 11:15:50 ago (+0/-0)

Thorne has a good reputation. I use their resverecel and curcumin supplements

[ - ] Her0n 1 point 2 monthsFeb 17, 2025 11:15:06 ago (+1/-0)

Thanks, we've been blessed for all these years to not have it so hard.

Not everyone enjoys this life, but it works well for us.

[ - ] Ragnar 1 point 2 monthsFeb 17, 2025 10:36:18 ago (+1/-0)

Never heard of this term before
