Well, she clearly isn't Catholic because she is a woman. I don't remember anything prior to Vatican II but I've never seen anything like this at any Catholic or even the Christian churches I have been to.

Then again, I stopped attending for a while due to being singled out for my gender, race, perceived wealth, and political opinions. I am trying to get back on a more regular basis and looking forward to lent.
