Best bet is work for cash and know someone who has enough money to buy property and pay the taxes so you can rent from them.
You'll need around 10k for basic solar and batteries to live with some degree of comfort. You'll need to know how to build a shelter decent enough to live in long term.

Once I realized home ownership wasn't likely in my future I decided I wasn't playing along anymore. I just work for cash and take full advantage of the government any time I'm forced to work a pozzed job. Thankfully I know a few people who refuse to play along too, so there's usually enough work to survive. If you hook into the normal housing paradigm which is own a house and a subdivision or rent an apartment which you're really doing is just attaching yourself to a list of bills.

Find a different way to live. Without those bills. No HOA no electricity hook up Bill no telephone hook up Bill no water hookup bill. There are many ways to do it. Pick one and do it and save yourself thousands of dollars every month.
