So for the sake of argument, let's say an 18 year old makes $50k a year for his entire life. Maybe he won't maybe he will, maybe he'll make more.

18 yrs-65 yrs= 47 working years

$50,000/12%= $6,000

$6,000 x 47 years = $282,000

US American males lifespan is averaged to 73 years of age = 6 years


$5,108 x 12 = $61,296 per year

$61,296 x 6 = $367,776

- where did that other $82,000 come from? Was it interest or was it another taxpayer that LOSES? if it was interest it's pretty poor interest. if this guy lives 8 years where does that money come from?
