Homemade Chocolate-Peanut Butter

Delicious peanut butter with cocoa powder giving it a rich chocolate taste.

- Prep Time: 10 minutes
- Cook Time: 10 minutes
- Total Time: 20 minutes
- Yield: 2 ½ cups

Ingredients
- A clean jam or Jelly Jar with lid.
- 2 cups Roasted Peanuts
- ¼ cup Sugar (It doesn't matter if it's white or brown, you can even use Molasses or Agave syrup)
- ¼ cup Cocoa Powder
- ½ tsp Salt
- 2 Tbsp Oil (You can even use leftover grease)

Directions
- Pour the roasted peanuts into a blender with the sugar and blend them together.
- Keep blending until your paste is lumpy.
- Pause to add cocoa powder, salt, oil, and resume blending until the mixture becomes a creamy paste.
- Pour your creamy paste into a warm glass jam or jelly jar.
- Let your Chocolate-Peanut Butter cool down in the jar.
- Eat at your leisure and enjoy.

No goyslop oil. Use organic virgin cold pressed coconut oil instead.

i'd rather use clarified butter than coconut oil.

That works, too, but you have a better chance at finding top tier with coconut oil. I am also guilty of being too lazy to clarify my own butter, so I go straight to ghee, raw milk cultured ghee. I'd also like to see how macadamias would work for a choco nut butter. With the high fat content of macas, one would need less added oil, too. Gotta go easy with peanuts. Not the best nut/seed oil.
