BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – Bay County Sheriff Tommy Ford has announced the arrest of multiple local massage parlor owners and managers.

BCSO said they were arrested for failing to maintain records and regulations required by state law at the businesses. In July 2024, new laws took effect concerning the records and retention periods of records that massage parlors must keep.

Just about every local subreddit has posts about these massage parlors. It’s no real secret, probably just a matter of who is being bribed so they can stay open.

Have a friend who serviced fire systems in buildings for years. Some of the clients were massage parlors. The shadier establishments would always slip him a couple hundred whenever he visit. Hey, at least they were up to code.
