and then i learned about the concept of babylonian money magic. in short, its creating wealth out of literally nothing. crypto, carbon tax, digital currency. if its made out of nothing, then with the right backing, those numbers that you see on shit like your bank balance, could be interpreted as literally anything given the context of the conversation around it.

Ever since, people have been convinced that pollution isn't the fault of the oil companies but the consumers.
