I think its that most dislike dealing with stupid, particularly when it's a safety issue.
Personally, some asshole rolls up on a moped and starts putting down that kind of power, I back off because I don't want anything to do with the inevitable fatal crash.

Same. Cracked 185kph in my old 99 accord every time I drove home from a certain job location. Felt surprisingly stable for a vehicle that had a wheel and steering knuckle completely separate from both control arms and yank out the axle turning slowly in a parking lot.
