Thank you for sharing this. I just barely scratched the surface of that site and the memories were flying. Like the year mom planted a row of vegetable spaghetti. A WHOLE ROW! We ate that stuff every single day! And gave away as much as we could! Every plant was loaded and every squash was HUGE! I'm talking 18 to 20 inch long spaghetti squash! I still like eating it occasionally.
And the time I worked at a place where special events were held. I got to see the best quilts in the country. I worked there so I got to really inspect those quilts without anyone rushing me. They were truly works of art. Extremely intricate details, and stitches that were Perfect!
Finally it reminded me of the year I grew beets. I don't like beets, but mom loved them pickled. She wouldn't grow them just for herself. So I grew a bunch and pickled them for her. They came out beautiful! Just on a whim I entered a jar in the county fair. I took 3rd place. Which is pretty cool considering that 1st place Always goes to one of the "wealthier" women in the county. I figure that sense 1st place is rigged it meant that I really came in 2nd, which is unheard of for a man. LOL.

Take those bones after you are done with your broth throw them in the oven/or any fire to dry them out smash them and throw them in with your plants.
