I have a 50 Mark bill from 1930 something. It's in a safe and I don't remember the exact date. My dad found it hidden in a prisoners of war camp he worked at. He found it around 1977. The camp is here in the states and has been repurposed for different uses now, of course. Dad was doing some work around the camp and just happened to find it.

Edit to add that while the 50 Mark bill is nice I really like your coin. It is a lot nicer than my paper.

My dad has a few that my grandfather brought home from the war. Which is interesting because my grandad fought in the Pacific theatre against the japs, not the Germans. Guessing he got them off of some Army buddies who had been in Europe.

Nope, I have a couple of Heer Daggers that date from ww2. Your coin likely has actual silver in it as well as being a great history piece.

That’s pretty cool. My uncle has a Hitler youth knife. He used to have a Nazi flag idk where it went. My cousins used to stick it in the window to tell their friends which floor they were on. He lives right smack in downtown Chicago so you can imagine how that went over
