The story should tell the tale of the poor woman he murdered, and not his last "sad" bullshit. By focusing on the criminal, this lesbo leftwing writer garners sympathy for the criminal, and not the poor woman he killed. That fucker should have been "goodified" in 2001 within a month of him killing that woman. Justice delayed is justice denied.

"On the way to a Branchville pharmacy on Feb. 16, 2001, Marion Bowman noticed 21-year-old Kandee Martin speaking to a group of people outside a house. Bowman asked his sister to stop the car so he could talk to her.

Bowman’s sister later testified in court that Bowman told Martin, “I want my money today.” When Martin didn’t respond, Bowman said she would “be dead by dark,” his sister and cousin both testified.

That evening, Martin drove up to a house where many of Bowman’s friends had been drinking. Bowman was in the car with her and told his cousin, James Gadson, to get in, Gadson testified.

Bowman told Martin where to drive, until they reached a remote spot and got out of the car. As they walked away from the vehicle, Bowman told Gadson he believed Martin was wearing a wire. He told Gadson he was going to kill her, Gadson testified.

Martin started back toward her car, Bowman behind her. Gadson heard three gunshots. Martin said, “Don’t shoot me no more, I have a child to take care of,” Gadson testified. Bowman shot her twice more.

Gadson jumped in the car, while Bowman dragged Martin’s body into the woods. A later vaginal swab of Martin’s body found Bowman’s DNA.

Bowman drove Martin’s car back to town, threatening to kill Gadson if he told anyone what he had seen, Gadson testified.

Bowman would continue to drive people around in Martin’s car throughout the evening, trying once unsuccessfully to sell it.

He arrived at a friend’s apartment around 3 a.m., where he asked the friend, Travis Felder, for help parking a car. Felder, in his own car, followed Bowman to the field where he killed Martin. There, Bowman retrieved Martin’s body from the woods, put her in the trunk of the car and lit the car on fire, Felder testified.

“You didn’t think I’d do it,” Bowman said to Felder, the friend later recalled.

“Did what?” Felder responded.

“I killed Kandee Martin,” Felder told the court Bowman said.

Later that morning, firefighters arrived to extinguish the blaze and discovered Martin’s body in the trunk. An autopsy later revealed she’d been shot to death. By that afternoon, police arrested Bowman for the crime.

A jury convicted him in 2002, recommending the death penalty."
