I've got some birds. Ducks and quail are susceptible to many avian diseases. Ducks are light years hardier than chickens when it comes to getting sick even though they live together. Quail are quarantined from the others simply because they'll run away.
I don't doubt there are infected ducks out there running around not showing symptoms.
