I need some advice and you seem about the only person that will give me a honest answer. I got 2 checks under my belt and got out of the mission and back into a hotel within walking distance of work. We only worked a half day due to rain on saturday .so with a wallet full and 2 days off I drank quite a few beers same thing on sunday maybe even more because I got a good start when I woke up and drank all day.I made it to work early on monday after the saftey meeting my boss asked if i felt ok and I told him no I ate some bad leftovers and had a stomach ach .He said if you need to leave its ok rain was comming at about 11am that day and we would probley only work a half day.so I left.
tuesday came and I called in and said that I needed more time off work. They said NO PPROBLEM we got you coverd Its another rain day On wendsday they were spraying waterproofing on the lower levels and told me to make shure I got the big fans out and placed where needed to keep fumes down. My boss saw me leaning on the wall and came over to ask if I was OK i told him I just needed to catch my breath and he walked away about 10 min later the boss and safty manager were walking by and I was still there I told them I still couldnt catch my breath and was dizzy they asked if I wanted them to call ems and I said no after a minute or two they said they would take me by car. While waiting my coworker asked me are you going through withdrawls from alcohol and I told him yes.
He said thanks for being honest while at the hospital I told them both that since I was going to be there for a few days that I needed to get my stuff out of the hotel because my week was up and they would put my stuff to the curb at 11am sharp. They went and got my stuff and took it to (coworkers house)the next day before it would have been removed he came to the hospital the next day and told me they got my stuff dont worry about it.I talked to the site supertendent And he told me due what ever I have to but come BACK.we had thought that it would be a 10 day detox but it only lasted 4 so I went to coworkers house to stay till I could find a halfwayhouse to move into after having trouble finding a place that would take me with no insurence I was put on a list and told it would be 14 days till I got in.
I called the super and asked him If it was OK if I stayed at Xxx house and worked his hours till I got into the halfwayhouse and he said PERFECT later that day A house called and said that they could get me in the next day but there was a catch . I had to work with 1 of 5 different companies for them for 30 days before I could get my own job they drove people to work picked them up and brought them back to the halfway house. Xxxx was keeping the company informed of all the events as they unfolded and it was agreed that it was best for Xxxx if he worked the program by thier rules and after 30 days he would go back to Company Name but they knew that I had plans to stay at the house for 60 to 90 days before I even thought of being on my own again.Talking with Xx and Yy and Zz the people that got me this job it was unanamus the I was making the right choices everyone was happy with me com[pany wise...
I have been going to two meetings a day and two 1 hour small group meetings at the halfway house since I got here .
I lost my wallet about a month ago I got my drivers licence right away so I had id to get into the house they said that they would help/take me to the ss place to get my ss card so I could go to work for 1 of the 5 companies they dragged thier feet for a week and I got on thier case more then once cause I wasnt working and they were still charging me program fees/room and board etc I finally got my ss stuff and was going to work for one of thier companies for min wage. I was ok with that.
So heres the problem that I have . all of my roommates at the house are young dumb slobs dont know how to clean up after themselfs ,eat my food ,smoke my ciggerets listen to the shit that is so vulger Im sure you know the kind of lyrics that they play nowdays I have to listen to it in the van when we goto meetings in the house when they play thier phones its disgusting'' I found out yesterday that as long as my fees$ were up to date and on a case by case situation they would wave the 30 day rule and I could go back to work for B/G I got the bus scheldule checked times and locations found out that it was very workable to walk 1/4 mile to the bus stop and take a bus that would take me directly to work and get me there by 545 am but I have to get it approved by the program director first I have been waiting for 3 days and finnaly got the ok today but I still have to be here to goto 1 meeting a day. at 430 in the afternoon I know that traffic will be bad so my trip into work will only take 40 min my trip home is unknown I told the director that I would have to make a test run for 2 days to make sure that I could meet thier min 1 meeting a day it will be close if I use uber I can due it but uber cant be more then 10 min late or I will miss van ride to the meeting . I didnt tell anyone from work about this becuse I didnt know if I would get approved or not.

Today at the aa meeting I meet someone that runs a halfway house and every one of his renters is over 50 he wont even rent to a younger person he says that he is right on the bus line and that bus goes directly to my job site too. we exchanged #s i asked him to text me his address so I could find out if its possible to use the bus and make it on time to work. its a halfway house so I still have to make 1 meeting a day just like where im at. but he didnt give me his address to check it out..

Do you think I shoulld move sight unseen Im in a very nice place now but his place is 50$ week cheaper I have to pay $$ right now either way what do you think my best option is

A talented white man brought down by jew juice. Tragic.

A common tale with no White communities to help prevent just such a downfall of our brothers. By design, of course.

Sorry for the bad formatting, that was how it was written for full effect.
This was after multiple times helping him get his tickets to go to court, money for this, money for that. Eventually I had to cut him off financially, and I’m the youngest on the family with a wife and 3 kids.
Soon after this letter was written contact was stopped by him and he went MIA for 3 years. Recently just heard back, same old problems now, he’s in rehab again. Not sure if it’s court ordered or an employer.
He was very qualified in the printing industry and made good money. The problem is once he made money he would go on benders for multiple days and not show up for work. Since he burned all his bridges in the printing industry, he had to get jobs at the local recycling center and when he got fired for that, as a construction cleanup person. Now he is 66 years old.
I don’t know why I’m sharing this, just to show that alcohol can really tear your life apart. I can count three instances that I know of where he has lost all his possessions due to not paying rent because he lost his jobs due to alcohol. All his belongings were put to the curb.

I'm glad you know now at least where he is and that he's alive.

Yeah, that sucks man. Sorry for you, your brother and your whole family. It ruins lives. I saw this happening with my life and I managed to turn it around before things dropped off. I saved the girl and she gave me a family, quitting was one of the best decisions of my life.

Thanks for sharing. Lost a good buddy of mine, was basically my older brother, had known him since I was 6 or 7. He was 5 years older and tortured the fuck out of me when I was a kid, but he taught me to be a man and grow up. We all grew up partying hard, but I got away from it mostly to go to school. His problems with booze steadily got worse and the last time I saw him was Thanksgiving, 2021. He seemed ..kind of ok, but was going through withdrawals then, the girl he was living with was keeping him restricted to a couple of glasses of wine and he was used to a 1/5 of rotgut vodka daily (if not more). He died a month later. I would be lying if I said I didn't have a problem with booze, but i never got that bad or physically dependent on it. Just, cut it out of your life, is the only advice I can offer people who have a problem with it.

You just can't help people, most people anyways. They are who they are no matter how much help you give them and they are always there asking.

This is really sad. I’m sorry. I’m sure it was so difficult to cut him off but it was the right thing to do.

Sorry to hear that. I have no answers save to say drug dependency is a terrible thing.

Thanks, the hardest point was to cut him off and stop helping him. Drugs and alcohol hit him hard, which usually lead to prostitutes.
When he was still a somewhat functional alcoholic and married, he would bring whores home and film them in his bed. I don’t know how I ended up in the same family as someone like this, I drink but don’t need it. I did a month dry last year with no problem.
