I have to go with female firefighters as more retarded but it is a close contest. My thinking is that a fighter pilot is a fairly rare occupation and in general she will just kill herself or destroy the plane. I am sure there are many more female firefighters. Rate of incidence has to be much higher and her incompetence could kill the very people she is employed to save.
To clarify, I am not necessarily against a woman being a firefighter but she should have no special permissions to obtain the job. If a women is able to sling a 200lb man over her shoulder or whatever firemen do then she should be able to have that job. I think it unlikely that many women would be able to complete the men's tasks.

Fair points except parenting and reproduction are the responsibility of both the husband and wife in my mind. The roles are different but they should complement each other and there are less than optimal outcomes when either is missing/inadequate.
