READ THIS IN IT'S ENTIRETY TO ENSURE THAT THE MESSAGE IS NOT misunderstood or taken out of context!

We recently had a close call where @system nearly considered shutting this place down and everyone became reactive. I am proposing that everyone create and maintain active accounts at the following two sites as a hedge and an insurance policy should we ever need to unexpectedly vacate this forum.

Understand that this is NOT to take away from what @system has built and provided for us, but, to ensure a fallback option IF ever this glorious place falls. The expectation is that you create accounts at each site and regularly post and contribute to these sites to keep them active. This is still the goat home-base, nothing changes here. This action will pay dividends if/when we lose this place. Sure you'll be monitoring another web site, but, it's a small price to pay to have a home if the unexpected happens here.
