Looks like the white ducks quickly separated themselves from their terrorizing crime ridden harassers as soon as an effective police force became apparent.

A few diggers tried to stay with the ducks but quickly rejoined their tribe.

I have a collie cross huntaway, very intelligent dog, only has to be shown something once generally. The only downside to the huntaway is that they are bred to bark(didn't know this when I bought him), very difficult to shut him up once he's in the zone so to speak.

My hound was bred to howl. Wanna trade?

Funny thing. He was the quietest dog ever for the first couple months. Not a single peep. I think he was just insecure. Eventually he found his voice. And then some. 😒

Im not familiar with huntaways.

Awesome dog, they work in new Zealand without human intervention I believe in a lot of scenarios, they are used for their bark which moves the herd because it's deep and strong, the border collies are then used to herd them (in some instances I remember reading), they really are intelligent, once he starts , like yours he doesn't stfu, we've tried everything, people use the "speak" command to teach them to only bark when told, never worked with ours lol. Lovely dog though, sadly he has bi lateral elbow dysplasia and I'm 90% certain he's damaged he's cruciate. He's on reduced exercise and no off lead, if it doesn't resolve in a couple of weeks it's time for x-rays and the operation no doubt if the diagnosis is that, can't see it being anything else as the signs are classic.

Is there a reason for doing that?
