Atlas Shrugged 1, 2 & 3

This weekend, my wife and I re-watched the 3 Atlas Shrugged movie. Yes, they were written by a jewess, Ayn Rand. Yes, they were very weak compared to the book. And oddly, they are free to watch on jewtube.

The story follows a theme common in our group, that the world has to fall down to be rebuilt back up. I'm right there with ya. Anybody else here seen the movies or read the book? If so, what did you think?

Read a lot of Ayn. She was zionist before there was a clear path. Slightly spun capitalism to make it look controversial. Beware. Caveat emptor.

i loved them, but the book was way more inspirational.

Read the book it has some good, fun parts.

During the lockdown attempts, and vaccine passport push, some of the ideas may have been an ingredient in the strategy of non-compliance.

She wasn't the best writer, there was a long winded speech to flip past.

I read most of the book. Extremely well-written and has very memorable scenes. It's really a magnificent piece of art that counters the ideas of communism and government confiscation for the "greater good".

I have to give credit to Any Rand, English was not her first language and yet she was able to write this magnificent work.

Atlas Shrugged inspired the Bioshock video games. If you haven't already you should check out the intro to Bioshock "My name is Andrew Ryan"
