I have very fair skin and burn easily.

I was on a strict carnivore red meat diet when for almost a year when I bought a house and spent several months doing yard work. Even in the summer, I would spend hours outside in partial shade. I’d be very lightly sunburnt and would be healed after a good night of sleep.

I’d never been able to tolerate that much sun.

I cut out all carbs after Christmas and have been dropping weight fast a heck but that’s a different topic.

i can agree with this and I have been testing it. I am in Australia and i am in my 2nd summer of using no sunscreen. I am also carnivore and have been for years. When I used to have a diet high in corn, seed oils and carbs and used to need 50+ UV to go out for an afternoon in the sun. Now I get no burning at all and if i am a little red it is all better the next day.

Yeah.i live in Texas. I stopped using sunscreen several years ago. I just make sure to cover my ears and neck and I'm generally ok otherwise.

My wife had her gallbladder removed. After she would get pains in her stomach when I fried something with oil like schnitzels. I started using beef tallow to fry and she never had a problem since.

cut about half my intake (which is a typical American amount) Cut 75% processed foods and cut 30-40% of my carb intake for the last 4 months.
meat (chicken. Beef, bacon and sausage, eggs, typical veggied and rice is the main menu now-a-days)

Feel MUCH less ..."inflamed".... I guess is the word.

Dropping weight, slowly going down. I think it's the carbs.

With carbs, either eat them alone or with protein. Or protein and fat. Mixing carbs and fats are the big problem.

Honestly since switching to no Teflon, no seed oil, I notice less acid reflux- next on the docket is sugar and I would expect more results there.

(We're on year 3 of the above btw)
