They worship Yahweh, same as you. When the priests of Yahweh encountered worship of other gods they declared those gods to be evil. They did this for self interest. Beware ideological zealots calling for witch hunts. Its the same sort of people trying to vilify others as nazis. Everybody here knows the nazis weren’t evil. Muslims aren’t great people— they are corrupt and violent. But worshipping the wrong abrahamic variant isnt really the cause of that.

Im not really sure what a matriarchy is or if it even exists. I used patriarchy in quotes for a reason. There are matrilineal/matrilocal societies and patrilineal/patrilocal societies. In matrilineal and matrilocal societies women tend to have more freedoms and more power in certain areas of life— probably because women contributed more heavily to those economies. Presumably they accounted for the majority of societies if you go back more than 5 or 10 thousand years, particularly in warmer climates. Matrilineal societies “worked” in every place where they thrived over patrilineal ones— they were just a more practical model for certain places and times. Patrilineality with heavily male dominated power structures has “worked” in the middle east in that it has thrived there. But we don’t want to live there.

Europeans have been largely patrilineal and patrilocal in the last 2000 years or so. Its not clear if bronze/copper age and neolithic European societies were so. Europeans have tended to be monogamous, maybe moreso than any other major world population. Monogamy is a model in which women have more power and are not treated as property. Women generally choose their own mates in a monogamous regime which has been eugenic for Europeans since males are selected for being less aggressive and more nurturing and supportive. These are “simp” traits that White men are selected for ( see intersexual selection) but not middle easterners who live in a polygynous regime where females are bartered between males. Male interactions (swapping females, murdering each other) drive the dynamics of those societies (see intrasexual selection). Too much power in male hands is corrupting (males are creatures of evolution, can evolve parasitic traits) just as too much power in any groups’ hands is corrupting. European society, particularly northern european society is distinguished by higher levels of equality between the sexes. (I didn’t say equal, I said closer to equal)

“Patriarchies” ie., societies that tend to be clearly patrilineal/patrilocal and in which women have low power (like in polygyny) tend to do alot of invading and conquering, enslaving, etc. Do they “work”? Living off the people you conquer can be considered to “work” but its a parasitic strategy and its not sustainable. Its not an efficient use of resources. Alexander the Great ls world famous but what did he accomplish? Nothing but killing and race mixing. My guess is that that is the sort of example you would pick for a patriarchy that “worked” . You don’t see that his modern day equivalents are all people you hate.

You he-man-wahmen-haters, when I point out clear examples of male degeneracy or male-on-male exploitation, you try to pawn it of on some indirect influence from women or jews. You lack objectivity.
