I used to love climbing trees, man. When you're a kid you have no fear, and all the branches are just the right size. There's a bunch of really old live oaks on one of the trails I walk, maybe I'll give it a go. Problem with that is if I do make it up I'm not gonna want to come back down to earth.

Me the same except it was all things White Pine. We had a huge old growth forest of them with nothing growing underneath so this beautiful carpet of needles on these hills and climbs with a creek down the middle even with tons of crawfish. I'd climb to the top of the tallest and could see the city about 20 miles away. But coming down i would crawl and hang on to a lower branch slowly 20 feet up going along it on and on until I'd be able drop to the ground. My mom would have heart attacks every time with worry.
