What do "experts" suggest as an alternative?

"Obesity" was never meant to be a medical diagnosis of a disease and what people outside a clinic think has no bearing on the determination of a person being obese.

If you want to know if you're overweight if you are over a 34 inch waist as a man or a 26 waist is a woman then you are overweight

I remember awhile back hearing somebody mentioning how it is healthy and normal to feel hungry on a frequent basis. I wasn't fat, but all the beers were making me a bit paunchy. So I pretty much quit having lunch, and also even dinner sometimes. I am probably doing it all wrong, but at least the beer gut went away!
