As an American, I don't want more immigrants because they're shit-tier immigrants, many of whom immediately get on public assistance when they get here.They're not "asylum seekers." That's a bunch of bullshit. there are like 180 countries around the world where these people can seek asylum that are much closer to where they're actually from, yet they all want to come to the U.S., Canada or 7 or 8 countries in Europe. They all want free shit. That's why they're here. The proponents of mass, unvetted immigration are also very rich people who want more people to cut their lawns and pick their produce cheaper. These Marxists and Globalists also like to point out that "immigrants built the USA....melting pot....blahblahblah." Yeah, that is true, but that wave of immigration from 100-150 years ago brought smarter, more industrious people-most of whom were properly screened and were able to be of use to society without any help from the public coffers. These new immigrants are never vetted and many are scumbag criminals--including rapists, child molesters and murderers who do double damage to society by draining funds and criminally victimizing the natives and naturalized.
