You're not a flatard, just a tard.

Straight line between the 2 places: https://files.catbox.moe/a5dmyn.png

I get it

Ok well i guess i figured it'd be straighter than such an extreme curve.

I don’t understand your complaint. A great circle route projected on a flat map is going to look longer than a “straight line” distance on that map.

Just seems that most trajectory flights perspective would be from up above at a 90 degree angle making it "straighter"

Could be a problem with the distortion caused by the Mercator projection, too. Greenland is big, but it’s not “the size of Africa” big.

Its what we call, in the busyness, "proof that the earth is a sphere."

It's why flat earth models don't give you a scale for distance, especially south of the equator. They would be obviously wrong.

I simply figured flights would be calculated from straight above at 90 degrees making it straighter

Due to the curvature of the Earth & swamp gas vapors rising perpendicular to destination' the flight plans seem a bit--Oh,there's the phone...

You can not represent earth on a tv screen.

Go buy a globe.

So all flights shown are from the same vantage point? Thus flights with curvature ratio depends on how far from same point. Gotcha Lol.

I don't understand why flight radar still uses flat maps when it would easily show a globe.
