Remember its surgeons literally murdering babies inside of other people. They clinicalize it, but there is no way you can't understand what you are doing at a human level while doing that. These are people who have committed the most gruesome act of murder possible even when compared to other murder, and do it multiple times a day. They can't be right in the head.

If there is, its because single father homes are unicorns. They hardly ever happen and when they do its ususally because the dad has distinguished himself as highly stable and focused on children, which is rare. Usually in such cases the children are older and self sufficient.

In cases where the parents are not together and both parents are dysfunctional or incompetent, women are the default choice and the lesser of two evils. Younger children (children more vulnerable to neglect and abuse) are almost always placed with women.

An unbiased experiment to randomly place children with single moms or dads is not going to show that dads are better at raising kids because millions of years of evolution did not get it wrong. Males have low investment in offspring survival relative to females. That has informed how male psychology is implemented vs female psychology. The differences that you guys notice (and perpetually criticize) are what makes us better an more prepared for the job.

Its difficult to explain why males are inadequate to the task in the same way that its difficult to explain what its like to be an olympic athelete to a person in a wheel chair. Most males just have no instinct to nurture in an attentive way and be tuned in to the needs of a person who can’t even speak or is too young to understand the dangers of the world. I see it all the time. When Dad is in charge of the kids at the park or at the store, the kids are all over the place, wandering towards traffic or other dangers. Dad is just not tuned in.

Dad will never be tuned in like Mom will, on average. You’re not built for it mentally. There will always be unicorns. But the trend is incredibly strong. Females are better carers for children.

Everybody here had a mom and dad. Most of you will agree that your mom gave you more love and attentiveness and policed your behavior more than your dad. Because she was better at it. Thats why we got the job. My mom wasn’t a better person than my dad. But she was better at raising kids. My dad didn’t know what he was doing, and we did whatever the fuck we wanted when he was in charge.

There is at least one single dad on this site that I know of and I don’t think he is doing a good job at all. I think its a bad situation. Just anecdotal. I do agree that a two parent home is best. But I think the idea that men will do as well as women raising children is as delusional as saying the best person to drive the space shuttle is a woman. Its preposterous. Don’t make the same mistakes feminist make. You can’t trump mother nature with ego and memes.

Update: this girl does indeed have a dad who is also her full time paid carer, according to Andy Ngo.
