In the beginning he was just an attention starved kid. So he did stupid shit to get attention.
Then he was told he could become rich and famous if he lied and swindled. So he did.

I have never been one to take notice of people's living room decor as it is generally inane fluff so perhaps Mr beasts entire crew also failed to notice it but it is circumstantially damning when another employee has also been accused of using their discord server to meet and fuck underage girls, a pattern emerges.

Or that podcaster who has made a total of three episodes and just starts getting some of the biggest names in the world? Or that girl who goes viral for making a gesture about spitting on dicks and suddenly has the second or third most popular podcast in the world?

Some of it looks really clumsy, like you could picture the sharks just scanning Trending that day and making phone calls as soon as they saw particular videos ("Yeah, get her"). Like with Hawk-tuah Girl. Some of it is a lot subtler than that, though. The point is that the "creator" paradigm is a lot less organic than it is made to appear. It isn't that the famous people lack anything interesting in reality; it's that, like in all past paradigms of talent, the Money is finding ways to leverage and control it. This is how middlemen work. A = You, C = something you want, B = a way to step between you and that thing and make money from controlling your access to it (A --> B --> C)
