I haven’t. I know its used for herpes/cold sores and it increases muscle growths and skin repair.
I also know its one of the aminos that some experts are suggesting be restricted in cancer patients. That means it may promote tumor growth. There are plenty of supplements/vitamins that carry the risk of promoting cancer. You might want to be cautious about using it, depending on your cancer risk.
I used to give one of my cats lysine chews when he was having herpes flair-ups. I don't know if it's related but once I stopped taking him to a vet he really didn't have any more flair-ups and I never gave the chews to him again.
