The fire was hot enough to melt the aluminum wheels, but not hot enough to melt the steel frame.

Fire heats stuff up and it catches fire. A two story fire is suoer hot and blows wind around. Justbthe heat ignites stuff

Ok so the air heats up around the car but the grass doesn't catch on fire and it's in the middle of the street with nothing but a house 30 feet away that also somehow caught on fire, and the wildfire didn't burn the trees too, got it.
