How do all these Muslim books work?
Christians only have the one book, but Jews and Muslims both have dozens.
Even this one isn’t the Quran, but some other book. He says it’s the book of sharia law, but then that it’s tied specifically to Iran somehow?
Does each Muslim country write their own sharia law books?

So basically Jews have the Old Testament, and then like a billion books written by rabbis interpreting it. Each one of those books redefines the scripture and makes new talmudic law with each rabbinical decree.

Same story with muslims. Only they include the New Testament, but only as a sort of advisory reading of the Old Testament the same way the jews have thair reinterpretation books all stacked on top of one another. Above all else is the supposed words of the warlord Mohammed, for which each and every imam spends a lifetime writing interpretations of that often contradict the Bible.

So bottom line yes, every muslim country has their own sharia law, based on which imams' books they consider the "latest" scripture. Most muslim countries have several sets of such "law", typically divided along ethnic lines.

Yeah when you are shopping around for a bride it's the same as when you are buying a horse, you look at 'em in the mouth .. thus girls should be considered to have arrived at "marriageable" age when their adult or permanent teeth are in place at about age 8 yrs, which is the yardstick that applies in plenty of places world wide not limited to the US. Check the marriage of 22 yo Charlie Johns and 9 yo Eunice Winstead in Tennessee, it was a happy marriage they had seven kids. Link.

While I have my doubts about the Wikikepedia article you linked (it cites a New York Times page for which they have only an illegible blurry scan) I still don't accept your false equivalency between the highly unusual (supposedly newsworthy) circumstances of this marriage, and the literal everyday occurrence of little girls being married to 40+ year old muslim men as fifth, sixth, or twentieth wives. Also if you read said article you'd know Eunice was 15 before she gave birth, which you can argue all day about whether that's okay but it's still at least five years longer than Mohammed took to fuck his child bride.
