The media generally pushes ugliness as beauty. From duct tape bananas to tranny beauty pageant winners and everything in between. It surprises me to see actual Miss America being a slim White woman. I do not support beauty pageants any more than a person commenting on a Diddy party supports him. @PostWallHelena...I wasn't going to get involved with this one but, it was either scald myself with 2.7 gallons of boiling tonic water or throw in my 2000 Rupees worth.
PostWall is 100% correct in her perspective...BUT...dominantly, the female perspective is misaligned with that of men...don't take what I'm stating as insulting or demeaning, I'm only stating facts. First off, the instinctive act of "chivalry" in men was not primarily of courtesy and deference, men were protecting women from their own poor judgment and their misunderstanding of actions and consequences, not that they were intentionally evil but being the weak creatures that they were they had to be protected more from themselves than than anything else, because men cared about their women at one time...until the "women's movement" and Gloria Steinum deemed chivalry misogynistic.
Then there's the issue of emotional biases totally disconnected from the imperative of
fundamental principles...all facts have an origin, all fabrications just appear out of nowhere, in aggressively heightened situations women are more prone to emotionally immerse themselves in illusion, without any fundamental element to their point at all, whether out of criticism or accusations or whatever, women are very good at making things up and if a man spoke up to refute any malicious fabrications he was labeled a "MALE CHAUVEAUNIST PIG".
Also another problem women have is that vanity plays to their credulity, just praise a woman for something and right away she thinks that she belongs in hollywood or with the highest bidder...women can easily be "praised" into taking their clothes off, and for the highest bidder there's a "no holes barred" policy and for this they are exploited as "sex objects", women exploit themselves...which goes way back to the era of chivalry when men protected women (FROM THEMSELVES).
Personally, beauty pagents are something between a Vaudville animal act and a circus sideshow and any attention given is strictly out of "exploitive" nature...hey, I'd have no problems with "exploiting" Ms Oklahoma for a few days...after I'm done with her she'll understand the Fibronaci Sequence and the formation of a "shockwave"...some would think that I'm a pig, I'm just being an instinctive male of which women should be grateful.
