For the most part,people are resistant to change.

"Change" = NEW,folks don't like "new" we all want things to stay as they are.

Short term it will be foolish politicians commanding AGI to do things (AGI doesnt govern bad, politicians govern bad). Long term goal should be for an independent ASI to govern. It's the best way out of this clusterfuck we are in imo.
