People are cheering on laws that forbid filming police in florida within 25 feet and internet ID laws for sites with adult material. People are divided and have decided anything their side does is good, anything the other side does is bad.

OH FUCK!!! Now they're downvoating me!!!! So many people are still caught up in the false left/right model (I just couldn't bring myself to use the word paradigm). The real model is, do your neighbors fuck with you (through politicians, police, lawyers, judges, etc.) or do they leave you alone? If police are doing something in public, it's a public space and they should be subject to the same privacy the rest of us have, which is nothing. Internet ID laws are bad. It's not about "saving the children" it's about tracking you online. So... I'm not that guy.

I don't think there are many here that go out and bat for them. I think most of this crowd is aware that it's all Kabuki. There are a few Qtards running around that still think red donkey or blue elephant matters, but I don't think most people here believe that. Orangatango might slow the descent like a too small parachute, but we ain't changing direction in any meaningful way. As long as the structures of the system remain in place, nothing will change. We'll just trade this turd for that turd.
