When i was walking the deserts of the Southwest, back between 1985 to 1988, i personally found five tunnels that went from at least a mile south of the Border to at least a mile north of the Border, while the fukkin Border was wide open, no ID required.
Knew of at least a dozen more that were out of reach of my Randall Flagg antics.
Building that rickety picket fence that they pretend is Jack Shit is bullshit enough without the "OMG! A tunnel! Can anyone even imagine!" that we're now in for.
Who even knows what shit is a mile below the surface.
