IMO the premise is decent, but the writing in term of the dialogue and the explanatory aspect of it are real sophomoric and annoying. Cory's acting is alright considering the shitty script and having to constantly suspend believe for pot holes. I know Danny Diablo as a passing acquaintance from the bar scene in Brooklyn. The guy who I know best and root for IRL is Danny Gilfeather, who has a supporting role as a bartender. He was pretty good in other, indie stuff I have seen him in--most notably this decent knockoff of Bad Lieutenant:

One time during a WW2 victory parade in the Soviet Union a state camera panned to me and showed me on television. And I also starred in an amateur WW2 film as the Soviet soldier who dies.

The Director is Kamal Ahmed from the Jerky Boys. He is Trinidadian. He is genetically a mix of Black and Indian.
