Everything is proudly promoted as a scientific break through until its not. Then its quietly swept under the rug when its proven not to be.
Cant wait for the Messenger RNA, (mRNA) a single-stranded molecule of ribonucleic acid (RNA) that carries the genetic information for a gene, to get blown out of the water.
You can go back thru time and find disasters over and over again but never given the spotlight it deserves.
Remember the deadly Spanish Flu? Turns out that prescribed Aspirin ( Bayer) may have been the cause of death, not influenza.

Bottom line: DDT was to easy to make, hence not profitable enough. DowElanco had a better product=very profitable; unveil "Dursban"! Very profitable,very deadly.

If it weren't for ddt, most of Canada would be unlivable. Black flies killed more men and livestock than ddt ever did.

The man that invented DDT fell into a vat of it. He lived til his mid 80s. DDT is (mostly) harmless to humans, and saved countless niggers from malaria.

To be clear DDT is not very toxic for humans. It is terrible for the environment though so for that reason should be banned. But as far as humans are concerned there are much worse chemicals in common use.

Those that sprayed ddt had the same lives as those never exposed.

But without ddt 50 million shit skins a year does die
