That's true, but it's much worse that young men are being sodomized as part of an "initiation" to submarine life. Women don't belong in the military, but men need to be there. I noticed, however, that this is strictly a British phenomenon; I've never heard of initiation-rape being conducted on US submarines. Rum, sodomy, and the lash, indeed.

I did four years on a US submarine. I can assure you that there are no gay ass initiation tasks. And this was before the navy went woke and started putting women on subs. That is a huge fucking mistake for more reasons than I want to put in this comment.
