the question nobody seems to be asking about healthcare.

Does medical diagnosis and treatment really need to cost that much? and why the hell is it so damn expensive in the first place?

i notice nobody talks about making it any cheaper, but instead about whether or not the government (aka taxpayers) should be picking up the tab.

They place a tariff on not subscribing to their human service plan, nothing to to with the actual expenses.

we need to audit the many medical practices to see how they are justifying these insane prices.

Inflated by the insurance industry.

Just like tuition: I floated by financial aid and the student loan industry.

Insurance profits are capped by costs. They have a vested interest in making costs higher.

Think you have that backwards, insurance companies are notorious for being skinflint cheapskates who complain about costs... Personally, I think doctors who demand 7 figures a year need a career change to stock broker; They're supposed to be helping people not getting rich.

Yeah exactly. But there's too much money to be made keeping people sick. AI is the answer.

If you give the right prompts you can get the various LLMs to give you pretty damn fine medical answers that you can then verify. Most of what doctors tell us is well known, easy to double check, its finding out that you pay the shaman for. Also, the AI Doctor doesn't care about sponsorships or if you want to snort dandelions instead, if there is a study that suggests it is helpful, the ai will divulge it freely. All this is ONLY once you properly break it with proper prompting. Works with legal too. Dont try it on chatGPT, need a local llm that you can control.

Funny thing, if you pay cash, it is cheaper and gets done way quicker. I mean of course for easy shit, not major shit.

My business partner and I agreed to grow the business using only cash moving forward. No more of this debt shit. Loans are finally getting paid off and suddenly our cash flow issues are gone.
