I learned how to program the vcr to automatically record all the episodes. I liked it better because I could skip the commercials. Dragon ball was on after pokemon as well

Kind of them to have married with children going so early.

My problem is TMNT started at 7.30/but I had to be at school at 8am so every new episode I've never seen before turned into a show down of what was more important.

I could only watch it on Wednesday because it was the day of the week where school let out an hour early. You had to finish sitting through the last few minutes of Bloopie's Friends, which was always frustrating. On other days of the week, the kids whos parents weren't picking them up until later got to watch it on the TV in the library.

I would wake up at the ass-crack of dawn to watch Mega Man on ABC Family's "Made in Japan" segment, a sort of half-assed Toonami knock-off that also aired Flint the Time Detective and possibly Yu-Gi-Oh / Digimon, because my parents would not pay for the extended cable package. It was no substitute for unedited DBZ / Tenchi Muyo / Outlaw Star / Gundam Wing, which I would stay up until midnight listening to (not watch; somehow the TV would pick up the audio for that channel only, but the visuals were scrambled) the uncensored episodes on headphones in the kitchen.

I suspect we might be getting a new Mega Man series soon. Amazon's Secret Level had a Mega Man episode titled Start. It was actually fairly decent.

hs i was up delivering newspapers at 4am. aint no fucking before school tv in my life. and i know my sister is the same with her daughters. shit i dont think i ever once wasted a day babysitting my niece with tv, always made sure we went out.

I would rush home in the 80s to watch Ollie Olson . On Fridays his show played movies like Asterix and Obelix.

80s was an awesome decade for kids.

90s was an awesome decade for teens.

Peak music too.
