I haven't been to a movie theater in decades for multiple reasons. It's typically way too expensive for the crap movies they put out now.

I realized a couple of months ago just how insulated I am by going to work everyday, maintaining my stable life and just everyday shit keeps me pretty busy.

I had to visit a movie theater for work. It was fine but as I'm being introduced to the manager and staff I'm learning that THEY SERVE BEER now, and the seat recline and are heated. Holy shit!

So I'm there for an hour and at 10 am they open so people start flooding in and my only thought is where the hell are all these people coming from? Why aren't they at work? It was easily a hundred people! Men, women, children(of working age) and elderly. Okay I get the elderly and maybe a few stay at home moms but the rest of those people?

I called the office and told them the same thing and then told them I'm going to start taking various days off so I can live my life too. Holy shit, the government just took over 30% of what I earned (AGAIN) and here I am just schlepping my way into to give it to them.

Fuck you people.
