For instance: Very few people believe I build working, scale replica, museum quality airships and rockets. I spend countless hours and thousands of dollars doing this. Nobody but me, ever sees the build process or them fly. I've built and flown hundreds over the years, yet nobody but me and about six other people know this.

You would be suprized indeed, what people do in their spare time. BTW: I've also seen dozens of "basement laboratories" in folks places over the years. People making explosives, drugs, just doing meganerd science shyt for the fun of it.

I make playable dnd sculptures out of 1/2" xps. I have a few play mats that are sculpted to resemble common fighting grounds. We can add buildings that I complete. I took this winter off to spend it with family and a little for myself. Winter stay-cation.

I'm a fan of guys on YouTube who teach how to make this stuff.

You can dilute anything by percentage by simply weighing it.
Weigh the bottle empty.
Weigh the bottle full of the solution.
Subtract the bottle weight from the total weight to get the solution weight.
Multiply the solution by 99% to find your new weight.
Use an eye dropper to get it to that weight, and replace that part of the solution with water or a equivalent solution lacking nicotine.
There, you did it.
The hardest part is not getting caught doing it.

It wouldn't be hard at all to inrcrementally dilute. Most brands make their flavors with a 0% option, and the bottle tips easily come off. Still doubt a lazy 4fagger would actually do this, much less have a girlfriend.
