Looks like they are going to lean into the 'unfit to stand trial' angle

This was intentionally pushed out by a WH aid to the WSJ which is a respected but allied news outlet. Clearly they are setting the stage.

I know the founding fathers made 'Treason' nearly impossible to charge someone with because of past abuses by the crown, but damn... these people betrayed our country. Most of us knew this all along but now that they are hanging it out there publicly we should go for the throat. These people need to suffer the harshest consequences in order to ensure it never happens again.

You must be new around these parts. Ever heard of "10% for the big guy"?

His pardons should be invalid. It's going to end up being the entire democrat leadership by Jan 20.

If he's unfit to stand trial then he's unfit to govern the country much less grant presidential pardons.

So basically this article just says we were right despite their denials. Sooo much for an honest and transparent administration huh?

The most disgraceful fraud ministration in our nation's history

So now they have every right to investigate why he is pardoning so many criminals.

I doubt he will live long after he leaves office. If he has Alzheimer's he's definitely in the late moderate stage about to go into severe. When he does die, they'll lie and claim natural causes because the disease typically is 8 to 10 years and spending the last 4 as the President brings up a LOT of legal questions about being mentally able to sign legislation into law and making policy decisions that got people killed, etc.

Isn't that a tacit admission that he was nothing more that a puppet?

Who is organizing and approving all those presidential pardons Joe is 'signing'?

Pretty much all of his executive orders and pardons and really most anything "he" signed off on ought to be revoked.
