Maybe not 'directly' cursed, but allowing American and Americans to reap their consequences. We're not fully there yet, although you can already see our foundations crumbling. One of the main reasons they call America The Great Satan is because of Americas insistence on obeying and worshiping Satan.

There are thousands of examples of American Evil in history books and current news stories. That most Americans are nothing more than two legged tax cattle doesn't excuse them or elevate them to 'innocent human' status.

What's the problem with teflon? My pan is cast iron and I like how it keeps its heat, but I'm not aware of any problem with the teflon ones.

Around 500F, Teflon begins to break down and release poisons that cause "polymer fume fever". If you have a bird in the house it will die. You could say it's not all that good for you either.

Ceramic-Titanium nonstick coatings aren't toxic, but I'd still not overheat them. High heat cooking should only be done with stainless steel or cast iron.

If ice turns into water the ice is kinda gone, that's true. Still, it's easy to use butter to fry something in a pan and reach these temperatures.
